Franklin, Yap, Slingerland, Robert E., Ens. DDAA (Ditched Damaged AA) Yap, Picked up by Destroyer. 9 September 1944

1 man recovered

From Justin Taylan www.pacificwrecks.com: His carrier was the Franklin. He had 3 victories in WWII, all over Manila. Two Oscars on 10-15-44 and an Oscar prob. On 10-17, he got a Zeke over Manila.
