The current "Smithsonian" magazine (October) has an interesting article which might be of interest to everyone. It mentions Justin Taylan who operates the "Pacific Wrecks" web site, http://www.pacificwrecks.com. Justin has been very helpful to my Missing Air Crew Project over the years and is a good friend.

The story of the downed B-17 is fascinating in itself, especially for the fact that the entire crew made it to safety. Three of the crew are still alive. The article is titled "Swamp Ghosts" and gives a riveting account of the story of this B-17, a story that is still unfolding and is worth a visit to your local library or magazine supplier to check it out.
