Eight fallen WWII airmen come home to final honors-April 2010

After 65 years, the remains of eight WWII airmen were laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery thanks to a group of volunteers who spent ten years searching for them. The event was held at 1100 on 29 April 2010 at Arlington National Cemetery. The service honored all the crew members of B-24 #42-73453 (The Arnett Crew). There wasbe a service at the Old Post Chapel, followed by a procession to the interment site. After the ceremony, there was be an invitation-only reception hosted jointly by BentProp Project and the 307th BG(H)Group.
